Speaking of his sons Ibrahim, Taimur, and Jeh, Saif Ali Khan recently said that they are “much more sorted” than he was. With a laugh, he continued, “I deserve kids as naughty as me.” Raised in the illustrious Pataudi family, Saif is the son of celebrated actress Sharmila Tagore and cricket legend Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. Saif Ali Khan thought back on his sons in an interview with India Today, noting how much more organized they are than he was when he was younger. He declared, “I keep telling the boys, ‘You are so much more sorted than I was. So, it’s fine in that sense.”
The actor also shared a memory of a time when one of his mother’s friends made a remark that made him think of his own playful side as a youngster after seeing one of his kids being playful on a plane. Saif shared that because of all the wicked things he did, his mother had even thought about creating a book about him, maybe titled Oh Saif.
Though Saif pointed out that none of his children are as difficult as he once was, he hilariously recounted the episode on the trip where his mother’s acquaintance cautioned him that he would encounter some challenges if his son were anything like him. He continued, “Karmicly, I deserve kids as naughty as me.”
Previously, Saif Ali Khan talked about a turning point in his career during an interview with Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan. He revealed that chances started to disappear after getting a few film offers. Even filmmaker Rahul Rawail informed him that no one would want to collaborate with him going forward and that his career was dead. That all changed, though, when Yash Chopra got in touch with him. Given Saif’s propensity for mischievous behavior, Yash Chopra requested him to promise to behave.
