Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan and Atlee to Reunite for a Cameo

The long-awaited collaboration between Bollywood megastar Salman Khan and renowned filmmaker Atlee is set to materialize. Though not in the way some fans might have envisioned.

Salman Khan is reportedly set to make a special appearance in the upcoming action thriller “Baby John.” It stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role. Details about Salman Khan’s character remain under wraps, but it is confirmed that the superstar has agreed to be a part of the project.

Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan to Share Screen Space Again

Fans will be thrilled to see Salman Khan and Varun Dhawan reunite on screen, having previously worked together in films like “Judwaa 2” and “Antim: The Final Truth.” According to a report, Salman Khan has yet to shoot his scenes for “Baby John.” He will be sharing screen space with Varun Dhawan in an extensive and thrilling mass action sequence. It is expected that Salman will shoot for his scenes in August, although the exact schedule will depend on weather conditions.

Future Collaboration with Atlee

In addition to his role in “Baby John,” Salman Khan is reportedly collaborating with Atlee on a larger project. Last month, numerous reports suggested that Salman and Atlee are working on a two-hero film, with names of South Indian superstars like Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan being speculated for the second lead role.

A trade source revealed that Sun Pictures will be producing this film. The source added that Sun Pictures shares a close bond with Rajinikanth. And that Atlee has been in contact with Salman for the past two years. They are confident about bringing both Rajinikanth and Salman Khan on board for this ambitious project.

About “Baby John”

“Baby John” features a star-studded cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Keerthy Suresh, and Jackie Shroff. The film is an official remake of the 2016 Thalapathy starrer “Theri” and is produced by Atlee.

Directed by Kalee, the film is currently wrapping up its shoot schedule. Initially slated for a June release, the film’s release date has now been pushed to Christmas, with a scheduled premiere on December 25.
