Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s film, “Dunki”, was released in 2023 as his third movie of the year. “Dunki” managed to generate a global business of Rs 458.69 crore. He was directed by Rajkumari Hirani and featured Taapsee Pannu in the lead role.
The movie is eagerly awaited by fans for its upcoming OTT release. On February 14, Netflix India released a morning surprise featuring the superstar, in which he talks about something extraordinary happening to the OTT giant. SRK says in the video, “Today, February 14, I, your eternal Valentine, am here to announce that something extraordinary will happen on Netflix. See you soon.”
However, a week ago, It was also informed that Jio Cinema acquired Dunki rights for Rs 155 crore. It will debut on the digital screen on February 16, which was not officially announced, making the fans wait for the OTT debut on Netflix.
Apart from SRK and Taapsee, the movie also stars Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, along with the backing of Jio Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films.
