Now, as a jury member at an international film festival, she eagerly anticipates watching films deeply rooted in South Asian culture. “It’s always inspiring to witness new and emerging storytellers,” she remarks.

The IFFLA holds a special place in Pilgaonkar’s heart due to its focus on themes from South Asian culture. Beyond appreciating cinema, she sees this experience as a learning curve for her aspirations in directing and producing. “There is so much talent. It really motivates me,” she shares. Her desire to explore filmmaking beyond acting drives her forward: “I also wish to direct and produce. This experience will teach me a lot and give me the opportunity to meet a lot of people.”
