Sources close to him say that the director wanted to be on a social media detox way and has been staying away from all his accounts. His Twitter account too, has been very silent for many days. As the social media platforms have become a place of trolling and abuse, Puri wanted to stay away from them and concentrate on his future projects, says the sources.
It is interesting to note that the director has even deleted his Whatsapp and is not at all in touch with even friends. It has to be seen what is going on in Puri’s life. For now, the director has all his hopes pinned on the Liger movie. Starring Vijay Deverakonda, this movie has Puri’s favourite subject of boxing and Mixed Martial Arts fighting. While Ananya Pandey is acting as the female lead, Ramya Krishnan will portray the mother character of the protagonist. Once the hustle around Liger settles, Puri is ready with his next project Janaganamana again with the Rowdy himself. If Liger goes well, it must be said that Puri will be having a good time in the Bollywood market from hereon. The film hits the silver screens on Thursday.
