Regina Cassandra and Nivetha Thomas starrer Saakini Daakini is all set to release on September 16th. The film’s teaser and trailer created good hype for the film and the movie is coming as a remake to Koren film Midnight Runners.
Helmed by Sudheer Varma, the makers have already kick-started aggressive promotions for the movie.
Ahead of the film’s release, the team is participating in many media interactions as well as promotional events, but director Sudheer Varma skipped all these parts. As per the trusted reports, the director is doing all these with a reason in his heart. It seems Sudheer has completely disowned the film and the reason behind this is said to be some creative differences between him and the producers. It is said the director was upset about the changes that happened to the initial script because of the producers suggestions.
If reports are something to go by, then the buzz in media circles is that yet another director Anand Ranga has directed the changes script as a ghost director to this film. Marking the same, Sudheer Varma decided to skip the film promotions, say sources.
Bankrolled by D.Suresh Babu and Sunitha Tati, the film has cinematography by Richard Prasad.
