The Om Shanti Om actor reveals about his remuneration for the film

Jawed Sheikh is a Lollywood actor and director, who primarily works in Hindi films. He made his acting debut with Dhamaka in Lollywood. Later, he becomes more eminent for playing the father role in om shanti om in Bollywood. The movie Om Shanti Om premiered in November 2007. Farah Khan, working under the auspices of Red Chillies Productions, directed the movie. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Rampal, and Jawed Sheikh all are featured in the movie.
Javed recently discussed his remuneration for his role in the film in an interview. Regarding his involvement with the Farah Khan movie, Javed remarked. After he was cast in the movie, there was an uproar about his remuneration. “Their manager approached me and informed me that they had to sign the contract. I replied, “Yes.” What will you charge me? I vowed not to accept any payment. The point is, playing Shah Rukh’s father in his biggest film to date is first and foremost an honor for me. There are many actors in India. Any person you designate will be prepared to fill that role. But it’s an honor that Shah Rukh and Farah Khan chose me. But it’s an honor for me that Shah Rukh and Farah Khan picked me. I won’t accept any payment because of Farah and Shah Rukh.
The manager was unreceptive and said that it was against the regulations. Javed said, “You go and tell Shah Rukh I will take just one rupee,” after much deliberation. I’m not giggling. Then, the film’s production team settled on Javed’s remuneration. “It was shocking in and of itself when they sent me the first cheque.”
