Tollywood actress Samantha made her acting debut in the 2010 Telugu romantic movie Ye Maaya Chesave. An actress who has a busy schedule of intriguing projects will now begin with her Hollywood debut. The actress, who carved a niche for herself in the South Asian film business and then established her mettle in Bollywood, is now poised to rule the West as well. According to reports, Samantha will shortly begin filming Chennai Story, her debut English-language movie.
Samantha reportedly stars with Vivel Kalra in her first English-language feature film. The Arrangements of Love, a book by Timeri N. Murari, served as the inspiration for the movie. Philip John (Downton Abbey), who also co-wrote the narrative with Nimmi Harasgama, will direct the film. According to reports, Chennai and the UK served as the film’s shooting venues. It will have a major release in Tamil and English.
The story of Nikhil, a South Asian Welshman, seeking his father is told in Chennai Story. The main character, who goes to Chennai in search of his father, will be portrayed by Vivek Kalra. He meets Annu, played by Samantha, who comes from a strict household, while on his hunt in Chennai. She is a street-smart detective, so Nikhil hires her to discover his father. The film will examine many civilizations since the two main protagonists come from Eastern and Western cultures and are drawn to one another. It is claimed that Chennai Story is a romantic comedy-drama.
