Tripti Dimri is well known as the National Crush after her performance in the latest film Animal beside her favourite actor Ranbir Kapoor. not many audiences know that Tripti has done a tremendous job in the films, her films like Bulbul, Qala, and Laila Majnu have left their mark on the audience and have been the best performances and best decisions of her life. But this actress failed to get good recognition with those intense and powerful roles as they were early ideas in the Film Industry. Tripti Dimri shares her story before getting Laila Majnu.
Tripti Dimri shares her story:
This actress recently spoke about her struggle in the initial stage of her career. She said, ‘ When I moved to Mumbai, my family was not happy with my decision of modelling and acting. They were against it but I requested them. I just wanted to try it, otherwise I might regret it for a lifetime. So, I came, and I was an introvert which made it more difficult. I was struggling to talk to people and get into gatherings also’.
She further said, ‘ When I first auditioned for the film I was rejected for the role. And, I was not much affected by that and I was preparing for other auditions and modelling projects and all. Then my friend was there to audition for Laila Majnu and I was waiting for her. There, someone came to me and asked me to audition, then I said I was already rejected by them. Then he insisted to do it again , this time it might work. Then I got the film’.
She elaborated saying, ‘Even during the workshops, the director and my co actor are like discussing intense topics, roles and work but I had no idea about all of that, I was just sitting there. I did not know how to act. Then I went to acting school and then I did it. Once I know the depth of it, I decided, This is what I want to do for the rest of my life’
