Yo Yo Honey Singh talked candidly about snapping out of his 12-month sobriety at actor Sonakshi Sinha’s June wedding. By the end of the celebration, the singer claimed to be rather inebriated.
Yo Yo Honey Singh, a rapper, has stated that he no longer uses illegal drugs, but he recently revealed that he broke his alcohol sobriety at actor Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding. Before his mental health endured, the rapper was very open about his dependence on alcohol and other intoxicating substances. The performer said that he had given off drinking after going through a difficult period in his health, but that he had resumed in secret in 2021. After that, he gave up again, but most recently, in June, at Sonakshi’s wedding, he overindulged in alcohol and became extremely sober by the end.
The well-celebrated singer stated in a video discussion on The Lallantop’s YouTube channel that while he occasionally drinks beer, he had stopped drinking heavy booze like vodka and whiskey a few months prior. I hadn’t touched alcohol in more than a year. I came to attend Sonakshi’s nuptials. I was thrilled to travel to Mumbai for her wedding. I told the photographers as I was entering that I was going to dance today without drinking. He explained, “I said so because I had not been drinking for a year,” and went on to talk about how he felt like drinking at Sonakshi’s reception.
“I attended the wedding.” It was Sonakshi‘s wedding, and because everyone was present, I said, “Laao aaj, or bring it on.” I was up on stage having consumed over half of a bottle. There was only a DJ console there—not even a stage. I grabbed the mic and turned her celebration upside down. Then I drank even more,” he admitted, adding that despite being obviously inebriated, he observed the paparazzi stationed there as he left the venue. “I was drunk when I got out, and there were paparazzi there,” he remarked.
During the same conversation, Honey said that he thought of being sober as being the same as occasionally enjoying a few pints of beer. In response to the interviewer’s statement that sobriety is commonly associated with not consuming any alcohol at all, Honey laughed and said, “For me, avoiding from alcohol means having two pints of beer.”
