Om Raut, rose to the immense fame because of the hype he created for the highest-budget film of all time, ‘Adipurush’, which was an epic failure. The director has made a few comments on Prabhas and Salman Khan recently to which he is facing backlash.
In the recent media interaction, Raut expressed, “Actors like Prabhas and Salman Khan are flop-proof stars; they have a big fan following, a certain perception, and a certain image that doesn’t get affected by some flops. They are just beyond.”
Comments like “flop-proof” coming from Om Raut, who delivered the biggest box office bomb with ‘Adipurush’ triggered the audience and became troll material again. The initial openings that were pulled, from the movie, Adipurush is through the Ramayan factor and Prabhas’s pull.
There are a series of trolls on Raut on social media platforms reacting to the statement he gave saying, “The audacity of this man to call Prabhas a flop-proof hero after delivering a dud like Adipurush is amazing. I need this kind of confidence in my own life” a netizen commented. “To prove Prabhas is flop-proof he made ‘Adipurush'” another mentioned.
On the work front, Prabhas will be seen in, ‘Kannappa’ an upcoming Indian Telugu-language directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Mohan Babu and ‘The Raja Saab’ a romantic comedy horror film written and directed by Maruthi.
