Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’, based on the real life physicist of the same name, is hands down the most bone-chilling and enthralling movie to be released this year. Already having made its mark on the audiences who got to see an early show, it’s all set to be viewed by the rest on July 21st 2023. In a recent interview with Robert Downey Jr. who plays Lewis Strauss, a kind of opposing force to Oppenhiemer in terms of views and beliefs and the lead, Cillian Murphy, the marvel superhero revealed that the reason he chose to do this film after taking a year off, is that he was scared.
When the host, asked him if this story caught his eye after being in a bit of a dilemma in regards to his next role, the actor replied, ” yeah it just. it scared me.” He said while pointing to his co star expressing that it was probably no where near to what he was feeling , adding “when u first read this thing and go oh my god I have to do this whole thing because Chris just called.” The Iron man actor jokingly said that it was nice to not have the pressure as Cillian took the load, but still experience the film. In the rest of the interview, Robert went on to compliment his co-star saying, “Its literally a generation defining performance.” Another mind-blowing thing to note is that this movie uses absolutely no VFX!
