Gauri Khan, wife of Shah Rukh Khan has published her book “My Life in Design” yesterday. She pens down her journey of her as a designer which she started a decade ago for anyone interested in designing. My Life in a Design is a coffee table read book published by Penguin Random House. Books talks about how composed one’s journey should be while putting spotlight on the process of designing, choosing material to lightening, artistic objects, and selecting colors. Gauri Khan has designed interior for celebs like Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt.
Being the biggest cheerleader, Shah Rukh Khan accompanied his wife at the launch of her new book. Talking about his wife, he shared their life together before everything they accomplished and how they were in teenage. Interacting with media, SRK said in long term relationship as theirs it’s understandable if people doesn’t appreciate each other’s talents but he thanked Gauri for playing her part in his journey to stardom. During her designing days, she was dedicated to support him.
He went all praises for her accomplishments as he remembered how Gauri has started her tinkering designing business and offered to help but she refused. She started a small 10 feet by 20 feet shop working it out all on her own, succeeding what she does. Shah Rukh said to audience this is something everybody can learn from her, following one’s dreams is possible at any stage in life as Gauri started her career at 40.
Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri tied the Knot in 1991 and have three children while their elder son, Aryan Khan is ready to mark his debut into the industry as a writer and director, daughter Suhana Khan who starred in a teenage drama titled ‘The Archies’ directed by Zoya Akhtar and their 10 year old son Abram Khan. Shah Rukh khan is currently shooting for Atlee’s Jawan and is a multi starrer movie.
