Actor Vijay Devarkonda‘s next appearance on the big screen is ‘Kushi‘, a rom-com starring Samantha directed by Shiva Nirvana and music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab. Hesham was brought onto the project after seeing the success he had with the music album of Hridayam especially the song ‘Dharshana’ which broke all language barriers and became a massive hit. The first song from the movie, “Na Roja Nuvve,” received a wonderful response amongst netizens.
Now the second single “Aradhya’, showing the two actors as a newly married couple in wedding bliss, dropped and is making everyone swoon. It is interesting to note that both of these songs were written by the movie’s director and the first song is embedded with Shiva Nirvana’s favorite director, Mani Ratnam’s movie titles in the lyrics as Easter eggs:

Geetanjali Nuvve

Vijay, speaking about the latest song and what it means, the actor said,”Aradhya is a song about a young couple that’s very much in love, and it’s that one year after marriage where you are having your own space, your own intimacy, you just have all the time and this person all for yourself. So, it’s about that beautiful time post-marriage, usually before shit hits the ceiling.”
The actor also continued by saying that the song draws inspiration from his own life though he is yet to be married and said that he envisions his own marriage to be like that shown in the song. He elaborated, “And in some way, a lot of these moments in the song are from my life, from the experiences that I have had. I am not married, but in some sort of way, when I get married, this is how I would like to see my married life to be.”
Vijay concluded the quick chat by thanking the singers, specifically Sir Sriram and thanked the audiences for pouring so much love towards the movie’s songs, saying he couldn’t pick a favorite from the album!
