Viola Davis an American actress and Producer throws light on her struggles and battling stereotypes. Viola appeared in various hit films, dramas, and television series, namely Suicide Squad, Custody, Lily and the list goes on with various fantastic performances.

Viola proudly represents her culture as an African-American actress. She believes, “Nothing can stop an individual from dreaming, and if something stops people from doing what they want to do it is fear. One has to fight in order to survive, in order to do what one wants to do.”

Recently, in an interview, this phenomenon actress stated that she did feel bruised and battered when asked how she got over that experience. She replied, “You do it, You will get through it and I read it somewhere, that Life is about healing, you progress through healing.”

Viola believes that vulnerability is strength and that will help an individual fight their battles. She also stated, ” In order to be a great actress one need not stop their tears, swallow the pain and pretend as if nothing has ever happened”, she also added, ” I would never let my daughter do it, because just pretending or portraying a woman to be extremely strong is not Feminism. The idea of Feminism is beyond covering one’s scars, it is all about how you embrace them.” The activist quoted the above empowering women through her generous words.
