Malli Pelli film gained much-needed hype with controversial promotions. Touted to be Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh biopic, the film has hit the screens today amidst decent expectations.While the team is promoting the film rigorously, it seems like Naresh’s ex-wife, Ramya Raghupathy, does not want this film to be released unless her divorce case is finished.
Marking the same, it is heard that Ramya Raghupathi has filed a case in the High Court now, requesting to stop the film’s release, which is said to narrate the real-life story of Naresh and Ramya’s marriage life from only Naresh’s perspective. So, Ramya filed a case, saying the movie is belittling her character in real life, and she doesn’t want the movie to be released. The interesting thing is that the High Court agreed to take up the case.
However, the movie was released today, but we have to wait and see whether the film will continue its run in theatres or will take a break because of the case. Also, Naresh did awesome promotions for the film. However, any shock by the High Court now would pour water on all these promotional campaigns.
