Lal Singh Chaddha has become one of the worst performers in Aamir Khan’s movies. Alongside the hatred towards Bollywood, a lot of factors caused the downfall of the movie. Be it Aamir’s earlier movies which were against the sentiments of a section of the audience or the way Kareena made statements to the audience, there are many reasons. All of these combined dented the LSC from becoming at least an average flick. The Hindi belt audience’s hell-bent decision to reject the movies from Bollywood big stars irrespective of their content also contributed to this. Aamir and his ex-wife Kiran Rao are the co-producers of the film. For this film, Aamir has dedicated 4 years of his life. He even left movies like Vikram Vedha for LSC. But the movie failed big time at the box office after releasing on August 11. Now, Aamir is said to have taken a decision regarding the losses. As per the B-town sources, Aamir is leaving his Rs 50 Crores remuneration to the producers. The movie is said to have a total loss of Rs 100 Crore losses. On his part, Aamir did what he could to compensate for the losses. The cine experts are opining that rather than holding the head after release, the star must concentrate on the subjects that will work for the audience and if the movie is good, no boycott calls can affect the result, they suggest.
