Actress Priyamani has shared her experience of learning she would be singing in Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express movie. The star claimed that she received an unexpected call from Rohit Shetty’s office while she was in Bangalore. She initially assumed it was a joke, which led her to contact her boss to confirm the call’s legitimacy.
She was startled to hear that the call wasn’t a hoax after getting confirmation, and her joy grew when she discovered that she would be appearing with none other than Shah Rukh Khan in a song for the film Chennai Express. She enthusiastically made the trip to Mumbai for the appointment since she was so excited about the opportunity to meet SRK and realise a long-held ambition. She was welcomed with open arms at Rohit’s office, where the director went over the specifics of the song. Alongside Shah Rukh, Priyamani appeared in the song “One Two Three Four”.
According to Priyamani in an interview with Gulte, Shah Rukh Khan was a really kind and down to earth person. He really is the sweetest person I’ve ever met. He eventually approached me as a result of the fact that we had to perform some particular steps more than once. No, no sweetie, you sit down, I’ll take care of it, he said. ‘No, sir, I’m fine,’ I replied. I don’t mind dancing whatever many times you ask me to because I enjoy it. I have no problems dancing. The five nights in question were the best of my life.
The actor stated, when asked if they had fun on set, “We didn’t sit down and chat; instead, we played Kaun Banega Crorepati on his iPad. He gave me 200 rupees. My correct answers earned me Rs 200.
Priyamani commended SRK’s commitment and hard effort as well. For us, after working until two or six in the morning, you want to go home and sleep, she remarked. But this man goes to the sets or perhaps his room after the filming and packs up to practise with one of the assistants.
