She is a top actress in Tollywood. She has been acting in multiple languages too. While being a successful heroine, she has also become a pain in the neck for the producers. Along with her remuneration, the star always demands that the producers pay the bills of her support staff too. Producers have been paying heed to her as she is in demand. But after the recent producers’ council meeting, she was clearly informed that from now on, no extra amount will be paid for the personal staff of the artists or technicians. Moreover, the actress has a team that comprises more than 6 members. The flight charges, food and hotel costs all together combined are becoming a heavyweight for the producers. But after the producers’ council’s new decision, the actress is in dilemma.
The new rule is not yet the problem of the star. Her issue is from the past. The producers of one of her earlier movies are said to have made her clear regarding staff’s charges. That particular movie was a disaster and they were almost bankrupt. As a result, they cleared the air that they won’t be paying any extra dues except the pre-agreed remuneration. The charges her support team incurred to the banner were said to be almost in dozens of Lakhs. As the producers aren’t ready to pay them, the staff asked the actress to clear their dues. Instead of paying, she asked the staff to go back to producers again and demand them. Fed up with this ball game, the staff are said to have warned her saying that they will stop working with her and eventually will stop anyone who will try to work with her as well. This is the talk of Tollywood currently and has to be seen how the actress will deal with it.
