Adah Sharma’s The Kerala Story Director Says There’s No Stepping Back

The director of the latest controversial film The Kerala Story, Sudipto Sen, said that the number of 32000 girls is not the issue and whether there are 32000 or 3 girls, the issue is serious. Those who want to hide the truth only go after numbers. He said he will try to reach Kerala and watch the movie on the day of its release. Sudipto Sen said that he wants to release this movie in 100 theatres in Kerala. Sudipto Sen added that it is getting delayed because of the threats.

“Many people try to hide the truth. Those who want to hide the story of three innocent girls are among the perpetrators of this crime. 32000 is not an exact figure. Tried to investigate through RTI. But the government and the police did not give an account”, said Sudipto Sen

CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury said that the aim of the movie ‘The Kerala Story’ is to destroy religious harmony in Kerala but CPM is against the film ban. Yechury also said in the Kerala Story movie controversy, let the court decide the matter.

The real story of Kerala is the land that raised the standard of living of the people. The movie has nothing to do with the real story of Kerala. The Union Home Ministry itself has said that there is no such thing as Love Jihad. Such movies have nothing to do with reality. Yechury said that the people of Kerala are against such divisive politics.

Despite all these controversies, this movie is getting ready to release in theaters on May 5, 2023.
