The lady power star Sai Pallavi’s both the latest flicks Gargi and Virata Parvam gained decent reviews from critics but failed utterly at the box office. But, surprisingly, Gargi film occupied the place after Kamal’s Vikram and Rajamouli’s RRR among all the films released this year.
Getting into the news, ‘Gargi’ today made its debut on the top 50 international narrative feature films list (excluding documentary movies) on the Auckland-based movies-centric social platform Letterboxd.
Generally, this letterbox comprises the top 50 films released in that particular year to date. Directed by Gautham Ramachandran, ‘Gargi’ currently holds the 16th rank among the 50 places on the coveted Letterboxd list.
The other two Indian films which are currently ahead of Saipallavi’s ‘Gargi’ on the Letterboxd list are Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ holding Rank 11 and Tollywood’s magnum opus ‘RRR’ holding Rank 4.
Meanwhile, the other Telugu film featured on the list is ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ holding Rank 40.
