Ananya’s CTRL
In an interview, Ananya Pandey revealed the back story of accepting CTRL. Ananya always wanted to work with Vikramaditya Motwane even before entering the films in 2019. She revealed that she is over the moon after accepting Vikramaditya Motwane’s CTRL.
The film happened because Ananaya’s mother Bhavana Pandey is obsessed with Udaan which was released in 2010. Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane the film became her favourite in a short time. Bhavana used to watch the film Udaan and cries every time despite knowing the climax. That’s when ananya decidd to work with the mom’s favorite director.
Ananya went on and said, “That’s why when he offered me the film, I was over the moon and so excited to be able to work with him. I’m so happy that one of his films is part of my filmography also,” the CTRL actress said.

CTRL Sequel
During the interview, The director was asked about the possibility of a sequel, He mentioned that earlier he had another ending for the film, where Nella is on her way to take vengeance. However, he ultimately decided against it. “Maybe. I don’t know. I don’t buy into a sequel. I think in Nella’s case, she’s doomed. She’s gone down that rabbit hole again,” Motwane stated. He believes that CTRL should remain a cautionary tale rather than evolve into a revenge-driven story.
He went on to say, “That’s the moment we realized. Why would anyone in their right mind stream this or shoot this? What would be the screenlife element?” he explained. Though he didd’nt revealed anything about the sequel, The question remains same.
