Animals are just like children: BB16 Sumbul Touqeer’s cat passes away

Sumbul Touqeer is a Mumbaikar, also an Indian television and film actress. She’s been a part of projects like Dance India Dance: Li’l Masters (2010), Jodhaa Akbar (2008), Chandragupta Maurya (2018), and many more. She made her grand entry into Bollywood with the blockbuster movie Article 15 alongside Ayushmann Khurana as a police officer. Sumbul was cast as Amali in the movie and recently, she collected fame after becoming a participant of Big Boss Season 16.

In her personal life, she made a great achievement by purchasing her own house in Mumbai with her hardwork and talent at the age of just 20! Her father was a choreographer in many reality shows which explains why dancing is one of her favourite hobbies.

With 1.5 million followers on Instagram, Sumbul today uploaded a post about her cat. Her caption implies that they’d had the cat for just a month, who passed away. There’s not much we know about how they ended up with Clouds (the cat) or how it died. Her heartfelt caption says, “Clouds…. I love you ……I’ll hold you safe in my heart forever….may you find peace my bachchu…… you lived with us for only a month but you gave memories to cherish forever……… I miss you. I’ll always love you !!”

As humans, we often grieve the death of other humans. Amidst that, we forget that kids are kids, whether or not born from a human. Animals are known for their trait of unconditional love and in a world so bitter and cruel, an animal’s snuggle can even melt a stone-hearted person. Sadly, their lives are short and Sumbul’s post is a reminder for all the pet-parents: Keep your phone aside and spend time with your fur babies as much as you can, for you never know when they may be gone.
