Adipurush film of Prabhas has had many expectations ever since it was announced. When it was said that the movie will be based on heavy computer graphics based and is made on Ramayana epic, cinephiles and Prabhas fans alike were excited. All that hype has melted off after the release of the movie’s teaser. Very poor graphics for a film that’s said to be made on a budget of Rs 400 Crores has become the talk of the town. Netizens have been trolling the movie team while Prabhas fans were fuming at director Om Raut and companies which worked for the CG effects. One such company is NY VFXwalla. Fans have been hurling abuses at this company asking them to compose the CG all over again.
Unable to cope with the pressure from the fans, the company, at last, released a statement announcing that they aren’t working on the CG of Adipurush. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared their announcement on his Twitter. “Leading VFX Studio, NY VFXwalla has clarified that they have not worked/working on the CG/Special effects of Adipurush, An official note on their behalf clarified, ‘We are putting this on record because we have been asked by a few media people. ” said the statement released on the company’s letterhead. But, there is a conflict regarding this. The co-founder of the same company, Prasad Sutar’s Twitter account is full of Adipurush content. Even his profile pic shows the title of Adipurush. He attended the teaser release event in Ayodhya and has been retweeting many tweets regarding Adipurush. As a result, there is confusion in cinephiles regarding who made the VFX and CG of Adipurush.
