BTS- The Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled the brand reputation rankings for boy group members for August 2024, highlighting the K-pop industry’s most influential stars. These rankings are derived from an extensive analysis of consumer engagement, media presence, communication, and community awareness among 730 boy group members, using big data collected from July 17 to August 17.

Leading the Rankings: Cha Eun Woo Tops the List

ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo has secured the top position this month with a remarkable brand reputation index of 3,668,606. This represents a significant 49.34% increase from July, underscoring his growing influence and popularity. The key phrases associated with Cha Eun Woo include ‘Living in a Rented House in Finland,’ ‘ambassador,’ and ‘face genius.’ High-ranking terms such as ‘flawless,’ ‘advertise,’ and ‘pitch’ highlight his strong public image. Notably, his positivity score is exceptionally high at 93.58%, reflecting his overwhelmingly positive public perception.

Jin of BTS Takes Second Place

In second place is BTS’ Jin, who continues to maintain a strong presence in the industry with a brand reputation index of 3,199,306. His enduring popularity and positive image are evident in his high ranking. Following closely in third place is Wonbin from RIIZE, who has experienced a 36.66% rise in his brand reputation score, reaching 2,781,141. His upward trajectory highlights his growing influence in the K-pop scene.

Jimin and Jungkook Make Impressive Gains

BTS’ Jimin holds the fourth position with a brand reputation index of 2,536,752, thanks to a notable 36.27% increase in his score. Meanwhile, Jungkook, also from BTS, rounds out the top five with a significant 47.88% jump, bringing his total to 2,108,194. Jungkook’s impressive rise reflects his increasing popularity and strong fan engagement.

Rising Stars and Established Names in the Top 30

The rankings also feature a mix of emerging talents and established names. Kang Daniel makes a notable appearance. Along with SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu and BTS’ V, who are also highlighted for their strong brand presence. The top 30 list showcases a diverse array of talents from various groups, including EXO’s Baekhyun, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon. This diversity underscores the dynamic and evolving landscape of K-pop.
