Veteran actor, Robert De Niro has reportedly welcomed his seventh child at the age of 79. The actor revealed the news in an exclusive interview with ET Canada.
While promoting his upcoming movie “About my father”, the Oscar winning actor shared his thoughts on parenthood. He explained, “I mean, there’s no way around it with kids. I don’t like to have to lay down the law and stuff like that. But, you just have no choice. And any parent, I think, would say the same thing. You always want to do the right thing by the children and give them the benefit of the doubt but sometimes you can’t.”
When the interviewer asked about his six children, he corrected, “Seven, actually.” “I just had a baby,” he revealed. The same was confirmed by De Niro’s representatives when they were reached out to. However, it remains a mystery as to who the mother of the child is.
The Academy Award winner shares Drena, 51, and son Raphael, 46 with Diahnne Abbott. He welcomed twin sons Julian and Aaron, 27, in 1995. He also fathered son Elliot, 24, and daughter Helen Grace, 11. The actor is also a grandfather to one! Well, it looks De Niro’s brood just got bigger with the birth of new child.
