James Cameron’s Avatar 2 minted money more than 2 billion dollars and became the third film for him to beat that mark potential. Avatar 2: The way of water is the sequel to its prequel which grossed more than 2.9 billion dollars and stills remain top of the world’s all-time grosser. Though it was released in 2009 still the movie is on the top level.
Meanwhile, the top 3 grossers of all time are Avatar 1 followed by Avengers End Game and Titanic. As of the latest, we have a piece of great news Avatar 2 pushes back the Titanic in collection numbers. The Titanic made 2.19 billion dollars in its all-time theatrical run.
The Avatar 2: Way of water enters into the third spot minting 2.20 billion dollars and pushing back Titanic to fourth position. Interestingly, both the films Titanic and Avatar 2 were donned by James Cameron himself.
Recently, at the golden globes event, James Cameron asked India’s pride filmmaker SS Rajamouli whether he had any thoughts to direct a Hollywood movie.
The next installments of Avatar were also in line up and the release dates were also announced by the makers.
