A source close to the development revealed, “Ayushmann Khurrana and Dinesh Vijan have been discussing ‘Vampires of Vijay Nagar’ for a while now and are all set to take the film on floors by the end of this year.”

According to the source, both Khurrana and Mandanna have unique arcs in the film that will surprise the audience. This marks the first collaboration between Khurrana and Mandanna, adding to the film’s anticipation. “The script is presently in the writing stage and will soon get into the pre-production stage,” the source added.

Before “Vampires of Vijay Nagar” begins filming in November, both stars have packed schedules. Khurrana is wrapping up an untitled spy comedy produced by Karan Johar and will soon commence shooting for “Border 2,” directed by Anurag Singh. Mandanna, on the other hand, is completing her work on “Pushpa 2” with Allu Arjun and “Sikandar” with Salman Khan.
