The magnum opus RRR, starring NTR and Ram Charan, released in March this year has created records both in theatres and OTT as well. It is not an exaggeration that even Hollywood celebrities are unable to stop praising this film, right from its release on OTT giant Netflix.
With such an extraordinary response across the globe, the demand to give Oscar award to this film is increasing day by day.
From the last few days, many people are expressing their opinion on social media that RRR has all the required aspects to bag Oscar.
Sharing the same, Baahubali producer Shobhu Yarlagadda also added his opinion to this voice that this movie should get an Oscar award.
Marking the same, he made some shocking comments on Twitter. This producer took to his twitter and wrote,”And if Danny Boyle’s “Slumdog Millionaire” could score eight Oscars including Best Picture, Director, and Score for composer A.R. Rahman, launching the careers of Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, why can’t “RRR” take a run at some major categories and craft awards as well?” a part of his tweet read.
Though there is a point in what Shobhu said, we have to wait and see whether atleast now a straight Telugu film will be considered to Oscar or not.
Helmed by Rajamouli, this film has Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devagan, Shriya Saran and Alia Bhatt in vital roles.
