Bhediya 2 : Bollywood director Amar Kaushik took the Indian box office by storm with the success of his latest horror comedy release, Stree 2.
In a recent conversation with a media Amar Kaushik revealed that Bhediya 2 release date could be changed due to VFX and other technical concerns. He also said that he has no intention to include Roohi , a charater from Roohi film in his upcoming Maddock Supernatural Cinematic Universe films.
Amar Kaushik said, “Bediya 2 will be coming, it will be coming soon. The date may be a little more narrow, considering VFX and many other things. But, it will definitely be coming. The concept is not ready yet, but who will be coming, what will happen, who will be the villain.
Director Amar Kaushik is currently enjoying the success of Munjya and Stree 2 as a producer and director. He is gearing up for the shooting of much anticipated horror sequel Bediya 2.
Bhediya is comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan from a story and screenplay by Niren Bhatt, it stars Varun Dhawan alongside Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal and Paalin Kabak.
The comedy horroe film is inspired by Arunachal Pradesh’s folklore about a Yapum, a shape shifting werewolf, who wants to protect the jungle, even if he or she has to kill somebody. It is the third installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Stree 2 directed by Amar Kaushik was theatrically released worldwide on 15 August 2024, coinciding with Independence Day, and received positive reviews from critics.
The comedy horror film was made with an estimated budget of ₹ 50 – 120 crore and has grossed over ₹867.78 crore worldwide .
The film is still running successfully in the theaters despite new releases since August ,emerging as the second highest-grossing Indian film and the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.
Bhediya 2 starring Varun Dhavan ,Kriti Sanon, Abhishek Banerjee, Deepak Dobriyal and Paalin Kabak is reportedly set to begin shooting next year.
