Jiya Shankar is an Indian television actress known for playing Dr. Iravati “Ira” Pandey in Meri Hanikarak Biwi, Susheela “Susheela” Ruhail Solanki in Kaatelal & Sons, and Pavitra in Pishachini. She also appeared as a co-host of “Good Night India” on SAB TV.
She recently appeared in the Marathi movie Ved. Currently, she is participating in Bigg Boss OTT 2 as a contestant, having been on the show since June 2023.
Jiya Shankar is currently locked inside the Bigg Boss house with 12 other contestants. It has already been two weeks since she is locked inside the Bigg Boss house.
Jiya became the captain yesterday and today she has to protect her captaincy by winning the torcher task. She has to sit on the chair for 3 hours to win the captaincy.
Abhishek, Jiya, and Bebika tried their best to remove Jiya from captaincy by torching her but they haven’t won yet Jiya didn’t even flinch an inch when chilly powder, pepper powder, onion juice, Colgate paste, and shaved cream was put on her face and it all went into her eyes but she stood firm and brave bearing the torture.
After shaving gel was also put on her face which burned her face and tears rolled down her eyes because of the burning pain.
Jiya, Manisha, and Abhishek were seen giving their best to win the task while Avinash, Falak, Pooja, and Cyrus gave up the task to play safe.
Seems like Jiya will win the task and become successful in protecting her captaincy seeing her determination to win the task even after the contestants tortured her.
