Strolling towards her personal life, the Madhoshi actress Bipasha Basu got married to Karan Grover in 2016 after ending her long-term relationship with John Abraham in 2011.
At the time of Bipasha and Karan’s wedding, Bipasha faced a lot of hate and criticism for being Karan’s second wife, calling her a ‘homewrecker’ and ‘the other woman’, accusing her of breaking their marriage, including her parents. In an interview, Bipasha said, “Failed marriage is not the sign that the human being has to be wrong. So, it’s not that they should be condemned. Like for me, I explained to my parents that the kind of relationship that I had was longer and it’s much bigger than his marriage. It’s just that I did not sign a piece of paper. So how does it make me different from him? Relationships don’t work out, it’s unfortunate but in the longer run when you look back you are always happier. It’s always said that things happen in your life for a reason and it’s always true.”
After she moved on in life, she welcomed her baby girl Devi in November 2022. Because of her pregnancy, her last movie was Welcome To New York in 2018. Ever since she entered the motherhood phase of her life, she’s taken a complete off from her acting career, keeping Devi at the forefront of her priority.
