In a curious development, former NDA officer Sameer Wankhede was offered Rs 25 crore to give a clean chit to Aryan Khan and prove his innocence in the Cruise Drug Case. A serious allegation of bribery was made. Sameer Wankhede had devised a strategy to give a clean chit to Aryan Khan, who was himself caught in the drug case. The deal was brokered by an already-tied middleman, K.P. He was ridden by Gosavi and Sanvil D’Souza. Gosavi and D’Souza finally finalized the deal for Rs 18 crore, and Rs 50 lakh was received as a Token Advance.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s letter to Sameer Wankhende when Aryan Khan was in jail has gone viral. Sameer Wankhede and Shah Rukh Khan have spoken about this issue many times. Sameer also shared his WhatsApp chats. The issue of Shah Rukh Khan requesting Sameer Wankhede to protect his son Aryan Khan came up in the chat.
Coming to the matter in the chats, Shah Rukh wrote, ‘Aryan does not deserve to be in jail like a criminal. Please handle our boy gently. I hereby pledge to stand by you at all times. Let me help you as you strive to achieve good. I will cooperate in all ways. Please have mercy on me and my family. We are simple people. My son is a little wayward, but he doesn’t deserve to be in jail like a hardened criminal, you know. Please be kind, I beg you please.’
The conversation between Shah Rukh and Sameer Wankhede came to light during the trial in the Bombay High Court. Aryan Khan was accused in the charge sheet that was submitted when Aryan Khan was arrested. But later, he was given a clean chit and granted bail.
