Chandrika Dixit, popularly known as the ‘vada pav girl’, is set to join the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house. The announcement was made by JioCinema on their social media platforms, creating a buzz among fans. The third season of this popular reality show, hosted by actor Anil Kapoor, will start streaming from June 21. In their Instagram post, JioCinema teased, “Who’s the first contestant of Bigg Boss OTT 3? Head over to JioCinema Premium to get a sneak peek of this teekhi mirchi (hot chilli)… Bigg Boss OTT 3 streaming exclusively on JioCinema Premium starting 21 June, 9 pm.”
Chandrika Dixit shot to fame for her unique way of selling vada pav in Delhi, earning her the nickname ‘vada pav girl’. Her viral popularity led her to Mumbai, where she and her family have relocated for her to compete on the show. Moreover, the show’s producers are reportedly in talks with a prominent Bollywood celebrity for a surprise entry, adding to the excitement and anticipation for the upcoming season. Bigg Boss OTT, a spin-off of the widely popular Bigg Boss franchise, initially debuted on Voot with filmmaker Karan Johar as the host. The second season saw actor Salman Khan taking over the hosting duties in 2023.
