The narrative is now scheduled to make its big-screen debut as an action-packed movie. After HanuMan’s resounding success, it’s time for children’s adorable warrior Chhota Bheem to take the lead. On Thursday, the creators released the teaser for Chhota Bheem and The Curse of Damyaan.
The fabled story, set in the old dystopian village of Dholakpur, revolves around mystery, adventure, courage, and heroism. The one-minute and ten-second teaser features Bheem, affectionately known as Chhota Bheem, as the savior of Dholakpur.
The main protagonist of the cartoon series is a 9-year-old child named Bheem, who has extraordinary skills. Bheem gains his powers by devouring his favorite delicacy, laddoos, similar to the magic potion in Disney’s Gummy Bears and Asterix anthologies. While there have been talks of Mukesh Khanna’s Shaktiman film adaptation, there has been no confirmation.
In the age of mass action and noir thrillers, the audience’s reaction to Chhota Bheem’s theatrical release may foreshadow the fate of the superhero genre in Indian films.
