Megastar Chiranjeevi who acted over 150 films has quoted he got diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Actor who attended Star Hospitals Cancer treatment block has addressed the issue of him getting diagnosed with Early stage of colon cancer. Actor addressing media has talked about how he testing it early helped him not only with proper diagnosis but undergoing treatment that need to win the battle.
He further said he isn’t shying away to talk about health issues like cancer as he was once diagnosed and underwent required treatment for the situation. He also said it is not something to hide as it requires proper treatment from the expertise although he wishes it doesn’t have to require the need of treatment and gets cured immediately once it’s diagnosed. He also shared he would help the people as much as possible if they come addressing Major health issues.
Interesting fact addressed about the actor is, He also does humanitarian work. He found a charitable trust under his name in 1998 which includes Blood and Eye banks. It is recorded that the trusts since then has made over 68000 plus blood and around 1500 eye donations. In 2006, He founded Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust which was Inaugurated by then President APJ Abdul Kalam Sir at Jubilee Hills Check Post. Actor also set up oxygen banks and ambulances across Telugu states during pandemic times for COVID patients in need.
On the work front, Actor is currently wrapping up his shoot for upcoming release Bhola Shankar directed by Meher Ramesh.
