Chris Martin hints K-pop BTS and Coldplay’s collaboration

Chris Martin : Coldplay’s lead singer has recently set internet on fire as he hinted at another collaboration with famous Korean boy band, BTS .

In a recent conversation with a media Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, revealed that BTS army would need to wait a bit since all the BTS members, except Jin, are still serving in the military.

If it happens then this collaboration marks BTS first international collaboration since army enlistment. BTS and Coldplay previously collaborated on a song My Universe which was released in 2022, and fans are eager for another song.

According to Kyung Hyun Kim, BTS’s rise was facilitated by a great increase in music video programming and consumption on YouTube and the coming of an idol empire, including merchandising of nonmusical products, games, and fantasy fiction, as well as an expansion of online music fandom.

BTS has a large, highly organized, online community of fans known as ARMY , which translates the group’s lyrics and social media posts into other languages and matches charitable contributions of BTS’s members.

As of 2020, some 40 million ARMY members subscribe to the band’s YouTube channel, with more than 30 million following the official BTS Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The BTS army helps generate their group number-one chart rankings via coordinated campaigns on streaming platforms, as well as pushes to feature BTS’s music on radio stations and television. 

On June 14, 2022, the group announced a scheduled pause in group activities to enable the members to complete their 18 months of mandatory South Korean military service, with a reunion planned for 2025.

Coldplay upcoming concert

British band Coldplay will be bringing their critically acclaimed Music Of The Spheres World Tour to India in January 2025.

 The upcoming Coldplay  India concert will take place at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai, with performances scheduled for Saturday, January 18, and Sunday, January 19.
