Devara Part 1: Censor Board cut off 4 scenes to issue THIS certification

Jr. NTR’s upcoming Devara Part 1 is the most-awaited pan-Indian cinema directed by Koratala Siva. The actor’s fans are eagerly waiting to watch their hero on big screens after a long wait of 3 years. After 6 years, the RRR star is here with his solo project. NTR also seems very excited about the movie release, and finally, Devara Part 1 got the green signal to cast off.

The censor board certification for Devara:

Tarak’s action drama has got its green signal from the censor board. The film has received U/A certification (unrestricted for public exhibition, but with parental guidance for children under 12 years of age) after a few moderations in the film. As per reports, the censor board asked to snip off 4 scenes from the movie that have to do with the violence.

Scenes that were trimmed:

The four cuts from the film included 3 scenes related to violence; firstly, a scene of a character kicking his wife in the stomach went under modification. Second, a similar scene where a character kicking his mother was asked to change. Thirdly, a short of a character sliding down through the sword has been clipped. The final recommendation of the censor board is to include a disclaimer in the shark scene stating that the shark is CGI-generated, bearing in mind that harming animals during filming is prohibited in India. With these four moderations, Devara Part 1 was given a green flag for release with U/A certification and with a 2 hours and 58-minute movie run time.
