One of the best directors of Kollywood, Vetri Maran, is teaming up with Suriya for Vadivasal for the first time. The shooting of Vadivasal, produced by Kalaipuli.S. Thanu, focusing on Jallikattu, is expected to start soon. The news that WETA, which has worked on films including Marvel’s films and Avatar, has been roped in for the VFX work for Vadivasal has also created a lot of anticipation.
Earlier, Vetimaaran’s directorial Vithuthya, in which actor Suri and Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi are getting ready to act in the lead roles. Also, director Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bhavani Sri, Prakashraj, director and cinematographer Rajeev Menon, and Chetan acted in the most important roles in the movie.
For the first time in his film career, Vethimaran is joining hands with musician Ilayaraja for the film Vithuthya. Earlier, Dhanush, who has worked in four of the five films released so far under the direction of Vethimaran, such as Polladavan, Aadukalam, Vadachennai, and Asuran, has now joined Vimithyam. But this time, he joined not as an actor but as a singer.
While there are reports that the first part of the film is scheduled to be released in March, the crew has officially announced that the first song of the film will be released on February 8. Actor Dhanush has sung his first song, “Onnoda Pahadha…” to the music of musician Ilayaraja.
