Dhanush’s recent film, Raayan, marks its 50th film. The action crime thriller is directed by Dhanush himself, in his second directorial venture. The news of his upcoming film is currently trending on social media. It seems like the ban on the actor is lifted. It marks Dhanush’s next film after TFPC lifted the ban on him.

Recently, there was news about Dhanush’s combination with Thenandal Studios. but the movie was halted as Dhanush got a red card for abandoning several ongoing projects after receiving advance payments. In 2023, Sri Thenandal Films accused Dhanush of failing to show up for shooting after receiving an advance payment.

Dhanush was given a red beacuse of the circumstances by TFPC (Tamil Film Producers Council). Now it seems like he has cleared the issues. His red card was recently removed by the Tamil Film Producers Council. and recently his upcoming project tentatively titled D52 has been announced. The Dawn Pictures production house has disclosed the news recently.

Dhanush’s next film announcement

The official X (formerly Twitter) account of Dawn Pictures shared the news, writing, “New Beginnings! Dawn Pictures launches with a bang! We are proud to announce our maiden project #D52, starring @dhanushkraja sir. @aakashbaskaran @wunderbarfilms @DawnPicturesOff #DawnPictures @theSreyas.”

They added, “We proudly announce our debut project, “D52,” with ‘Nadipin Asuran’ Dhanush sir. We sincerely thank Dhanush sir for this wonderful opportunity to collaborate with him on this exciting journey. Aakash Baskaran, producer.”

They posted a note that reads, “Dawn Pictures is excited to announce our first prestigious project, which marks a significant milestone for the production house. We’re committed to producing heartfelt and innovative content that resonates with audiences worldwide.”

The details regarding the cast of the film are yet to be announced. Apart from Dawn Pictures, Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films will also produce the project.

The actor’s last film was a commercial success at the box office. He will be next seen in Sephar Kammula’s Kubera, staring alongside Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandana.
