Dhanush is one of the prominent actors of Tamil industry. He teamed up with Tollywood filmmaker Venky Atluri who made debut with Tholi Prema (2018). Sir (Vaathi in Tamil) is a bilingual film starring Kollywood star hero Dhanush. Samyukta Menon will play the female lead opposite Dhanush in this film.
The film’s OTT rights were sold to Netflix and will be available to stream on Netflix a few weeks after the movie’s theatrical release.
As the film’s storyline is tightly wrapped, fans want to witness Dhanush playing a teacher. The music for the movie is composed by GV Prakash.
The film has Samyuktha Menon in the female lead role. Besides Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon, the film has Tanikela Bharani, Shrutika, Thotapalli Madhu and others. Sithara Entertainments are the producers. The bilingual is releasing in theaters on the 17th of February. It is billed to be a period social drama.
