Vaathi starring Dhanush and Samyukhta Menon playing roles of ideal teachers who focus on the needs of students over themselves is a 2023 film originally released in Telugu and Tamil. The film also stars Samuthirakani, Hyper Aadi, and versatile actors like Tanikella Bharani and P.Sai Kumar.
The film revolves around Dhanush who plays the protagonist of the film where he addresses the issue of education being a basic necessity of every individual and it ought not to be commercialized. The film falls under the genre of period action drama which is written and directed by Venky Atluri known for hit films like Tholi Prema and he also worked as a dialogue writer for Kerintha.
The film was a super hit and was reported to have made more than 100 crores. This Bi-Lingual film was out on OTT in Telugu and Tamil back on March 17th. Netflix India South recently tweeted that the film is now also available in Malayalam and Kannada from 29th March 2023.
