Right from a few days, Tollywood is suffering a lot at the box-office. While just two or three films bagged breakeven, all the other movies more than hundreds went in vain with a lot of losses. Post pandemic with change in revenue situations and increase in Ticket cost, most of the audience are not interested to watch the films in theatres unless and until it is really worth watching.
Reacting to this, The Telugu Film Producers Guild has been taking a lot of initiative to revive the theatrical market once again. For this, they are also conducting timely meetings to discuss various aspects such as remuneration of actors, OTT release time period, ticket rates, and so on.
Also, the press note released yesterday, marking to withhold shootings from August 1st has become talk in the industry. Also, it is said that producers planned to withhold the shooting of films from August 1st, 2022 to sit down and discuss the concerns of the industry until suitable solutions for the problems are found.
As per inside reports, Dil Raju, has already spoken with NTR, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, regarding the industry present state and its worrisome aspects. The positive thing of this meeting is that heroes have come forward to reduce their remunerations. Megastar Chiranjeevi also has already written a letter to the producer guild about the shooting crisis.
With these many situations happening around in the film industry, we have to wait and see what would finally be the outcome.
