Divya Khosla Kumar, Meezaan Jafri, Pearl Puri starrer Yaariyan 2 is all about cousins and friendship and its songs are following the same vibe. Yaariyan 2’s 1st song Saure Ghar released 5 days ago and it immediately became the wedding anthem of the year. Recently, a clip went viral from Saure Ghar’s behind the scenes where Divya Khosla Kumar is seen wearing a 15kg lehenga and climbing a mountain for the filming.
The entire song’s backdrop is in the mountains, with the lead casts, Divya, Meezaan and Pearl are going in and out of local buses and Divya is climbing the ladders at the back of the bus in her extremely heavy lehenga.

Sung by Vishal Mishra, Neeti Mohan & Manan Bhardwaj, Saure Ghar is a song describing a girl who doesn’t want to get married but has no out of it. The lyrics are fun and light and the music is very similar to that of London Thumakda from Kangana Ranaut’s movie Queen.
While its first instalment Yaariyan was about friendship and exploring adolescence, Yaariyan 2 exclusively focuses on cousins’ bond, all while Divya is getting married and the brothers are by her side at all times.
The movie will come out on October 20th, 2023. Yaariyan 2 follows the journeys of three cousins, Shikhar, Ladli, and Bajrang, as they navigate their adventures, dreams and self-discovery in Mumbai. The story revolves around Ladli’s troubled marriage to Abhay, her uncovering of his past love story, and their subsequent divorce. Simultaneously, Bajju experiences heartbreak in his pursuit of love, while Shikhar, facing a ban from bike racing, finds solace in his work and an unexpected friendship with Ikroor, a paraplegic girl. Shikhar’s participation in a Dirt Bike Championship becomes the turning point, leading to a realization of his feelings for Ikroor and a heartwarming ending where she decides to stay with him. “Yaariyan 2” beautifully explores the theme of friendship, love and the transformative power of human relations.
