Dulquar Says He Cried Because Of Sita Ramam

Dulquar Salman’s Sita Ramam, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi is single-handedly bringing people back to the theatres. In just 3 days, the film collected Rs 25 crore worldwide and had a fantastic Monday and Tuesday at the box office. According to reports, Sita Ramam will continue to have a great run this week as well.

Sharing his happiness on this fabulous Success, Dulquer Salmaan firstly thanked director Mani Ratnam for introducing him to Tollywood with the Telugu dubbed film Ok Bangaram.

“You all took a chance on me and gave me immense love in my first outing”, he added.

Later, talking about his further films, the Mahanati actor wrote ” Nagi and Vyjayanthi gave me the opportunity to play Gemini in ‘Mahanati’ and even though it had grey shades, the love and respect I got for the role and film was unlike anything I expected. ‘Ammadi’ became a permanent part of my life wherever I went”

Further, talking about his remaining films, Dulqar said, “Kannulu Kannulu Dochayente’ and ‘Kurup’ were dubbed films, yet the love you gave to those films is something I’ll never forget”.

” When Swapna and Hanu approached me with ‘Sita Ramam’, I knew I was in safe hands. I knew we would be delivering a quality film and I want to always do only those straight Telugu films that will be unique and pathbreaking”, Mahanti actor wrote sharing about Sita Ramam film.

Thanking all the artists and crew Dulquar made interesting comments that he cried on the day of the film’s release because he was so overwhelmed with the film and how people were accepting the movie.

Finally he concluded his post by saying Thank you to the Telugu cinema audience.
