Emma Stone, the Oscar winner, who could be on her way to her second Academy Award shortly, stepped out in a custom peach gown for the BAFTAs 2024. Vogue revealed what her longtime stylist Petra Flannery had to say about the special fashion look that required hundreds of hours (times four) to achieve.
While maintaining Emma’s uniqueness in the gown’s design, Flannery reportedly enabled it to “show her affinity with the character and Bella’s spirit”. From a distance, the peach gown appears to be a straightforward item of evening fashion, but a closer glance may lead you to believe differently.
Emma’s unique Louis Vuitton dress (designed by Nicolas Ghesquiere) is not the first time she has dressed as the artsy Bella Baxter. The peachy one-shoulder asymmetric bustier gown, like her Critics Choice Awards gown with “BB” embroidery, had a signature Bella-era look.
