Even after the success of Made in Heaven it turned into a disaster for Arjun Mathur

Made in Heaven

Made in Heaven is back with a new season after keeping fans waiting for more than four years. Shobhita Dhulipala and Arjun Mathur play the leading characters in the Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti production. Arjun indicated that results fell far too short of expectations, despite the fact that many would hope the show would do wonders for their careers. Readers are likely aware that the actor was nominated for a 2020 International Emmy Award for Best Actor.

In a conversation with IndianExpress.com during the Made in Heaven 2 promotional period, Arjun also discussed how his character eventually gained popularity. He continued by sharing touching tales about the criticism he received from the LGBTQ community. Through the actor’s portrayal of the homosexual character Karan, the audience was able to learn about the difficulties that openly gay people encounter in finding real love.

“To be completely honest, I didn’t foresee the way Karan would affect actual human lives. It was encouraging that so many people reached out to me. I recall this woman who was the mother of two little boys. Before seeing the show, she admitted to me that she felt uncomfortable with homosexuality. She said, “I will accept it with an open heart and give them twice the love if one or both of them turn out to be gay.” Additionally, this newlywed couple came a long way to meet me when I was in Chicago. They said that their parents opposed it but changed their minds after seeing Made in Heaven,” he continued, his sense of pride evident in his voice.
