Thalapathy Vijay will be making his debut in Telugu with Thalapathy66, which was officially launched a couple of months ago and is currently in the shooting phase. But as per the latest reports, Thalapathy66 is only being shot in Tamil now.
Apparently, the idea to shoot the film in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously hasn’t worked out, and the unit is shooting the film entirely in Tamil now.
This is a compelling move because the director Vamshi Paidipally, and producer Dil Raju, are all Telugu filmmakers. It would be really interesting to see how they are handling a film that is being shot in Tamil Nativity.
It is heard that the Vijay starrer will be shot in Tamil and later be dubbed and released in Telugu. This is just speculation for now, and nothing is for sure.
