The most highly anticipated romantic genre Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani is gearing up for a grand release soon. The film has garnered attention since its first look poster was released.
Makers have already started the promotions of the film on social platforms. Recently, Karan Johar who has set his feet as director again after his last directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. For the first vintage song, Karan has dedicated the song to his guru and late director Yash Chopra penning down a heartfelt note.
Now the director has dropped the first picture of the leads from the first look test of the film on his Instagram post. “Our very first look test of the film! When we were locking looks for ROCKY and RANI,” tagging fashion designer Manish Malhotra and Stylist Eka Lakhani. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani is marked as Karan Johar’s directorial venture after 7 years gap with the last directed in 2016, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor.
Touted to be a romantic drama revolving around larger than life love story of Rocky Aur Rani. The film has a star cast with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as the main leads with veteran actors Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra in key roles with Tota Roy, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, Kshitee Jog in supporting roles. The film is being jointly produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
