Following the success of Gadar 2, Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is in demand for all the sequel films, which were blockbusters starring the actor back in the day. With Border 2 making headlines since last week, the actor is prepping for the film.
In Border, Sunny Deol played an important role, and now the actor is gearing up to enthral the audience with a sequence, which is expected to begin shooting in the first quarter of 2024, said producer and writer Nidhi Dutta.
The daughter of JP Dutta, who also wrote the script for Border 2, says it will be the biggest war film ever made in this country. Unlike many war films in India so far, Border 2 will showcase the efforts of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force and provide a comprehensive view of the 1971 war.
She also hinted bout blending personal stories of war heroes and martyrs to add a human touch to the grand spectacle of war. The film’s groundwork began in 2022, involving multiple trips and permissions from the Defence Ministry. The producer is said to be adamant about creating a story that would do justice to Border’s legacy.
In Border 2, Apart from Sunny Deol, Ayushmann Khurrana will also be seen as one of the main leads.
